General FAQs

  • Evolve Help Ukraine was established in 2022 to help displaced people from Ukraine rebuild their lives in Australia.

Our aim is to help them in the resettlement process by assisting with their financial and practical needs.

We focus on providing rental accommodation, employment and immigration support to help them gain independence and assimilate.

Ways we help include financial support for visas, emergency accommodation, employment, food, English lessons, social connections and assimilation.

We do this by partnering with supporters, volunteers, food banks, community and faith-based organisations.

  • Evolve Help Ukraine is a ministry of Evolve Church, a member of the Australian Christian Churches (ACC). While we are motivated by our Christian values and faith, the primary focus of our work is addressing the immediate practical and financial needs of the Ukrainian people arriving in Australia. We respond to these needs regardless of the religion or beliefs of a community or of individual members.

As we do work in partnership with supporters and community organisations, depending on specific circumstances we may partner with local faith-based groups.

  • We primarily work in Victoria, Australia. We try our best to assist with resettlement requests from other states but currently our main focus is in Victoria.

Education includes accreditation and licensing fees for their upskilling or reskilling qualifications to enable employment in Australia.

  • You can provide opportunities such as internships or employment.

  • Due to a lack of credit history, arriving Ukrainians will struggle with finding long-term rental accommodation.

If you are open to renting your property to them, please contact us and we can facilitate the process.

  • We are always looking for a connection to services or providers that can help us continue to provide support!
