What we do.
We partner with supporters, food and clothing banks, community organisations, volunteers, local churches and care networks to rebuild lives for displaced Ukrainians in Australia.

-
Accommodation
Our aim is to find a good home for every arriving family. Many generous donors have offered their homes to host families for 3 months. We vet the families and homes to ensure mutual safety. With your help, we would also like to help them to rent accomodation in the long term.
-
Orientation
We help them open bank accounts, teach them to use public transport, understand Australian culture, practice driving, help them with reskilling and upskilling for employment.
-
Food and Clothing
We connect them with food parcels and clothes distribution points. See FAQs for our partners.
-
Employment
We help with employment opportunities to ensure that once the government gives them working rights, they will be able to earn a steady income and gain independence. Ukrainians are a hard-working and talented people with degrees, work experience and trades skills.
-
Community and Support
We started ‘Welcome Hub’, a free social event and kids activities for Ukranians to ensure kids and parents build community, connect and support each other. We host speakers who address different topics for assimilation, have dinner, run a kids program and give out food parcels. We also organise social events to help them assimilate into Australian society.
-
Bible Study
We run Bible study classes for them to be able to practice their faith.
-
Visa, Legal and Immigration Help
We provide workshops, professional assistance and have immigration agents and volunteers working with us on visas.
-
Post Traumatic Stress Therapy
We partner with PTS therapy providers to help people process and grieve their experience back in Ukraine, where many have lost relatives and friends.
-
Financial Support
We provide financial support for re-skilling and up-skilling training and courses for employment, visa related costs and medical examinations.
